On Sunday 14th April
Camel Rock Restaurant, in Scarborough
For 14th April we have the band Mazula and Marimba Jam performers lined up, as well as African StoryTelling by Jungle Theatre.
All these performances are busking in support of the Red Hill Feeding Project, which provides 90 free meals every day in the neighbouring informal settlement on Red Hill.
And there will also be free activities for children: a friendship bracelet workshop with art teacher Jedidjah, beautiful face paints by Alison, a bouncy castle and of course lots and lots of stalls selling home-made, locally produced, sustainably thought and irresistible goods and gifts.
On the food side of things, there will be a special Burrito Bar from the Camel Rock, as well as fresh juices, craft beer, frozen cocktails, pizzas, braai and all the other menu staples. Check out the new revolutionary rocket oven in the courtyard, which is now helping out Priscilla, the famous camel-shaped clay pizza-oven.
